In 2015 the idea was to return to the festival’s multicultural and international roots.

Over two weeks in May the festival visited Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Battambang, giving audiences the chance to see a variety of world class circus performances.

The 2015 edition welcomed four international troupes and two Cambodian troupes :

In total, more than 4500 people enjoyed the 2 hour-performances during the week, including 500 children and students from Cambodian NGOs, who were given free tickets to attend the shows.

Many side events were organized in each of the three cities, pulling new audiences and community members into the wonderful atmosphere of the festival. There were street parades in Siem Reap and Battambang, two mini shows at the French Institute of Phnom Penh and one mini show at the Phnom Penh Airport.

Behind the scenes, the festival was also a place were artists could exchange skills and personal experiences, making Tini Tinou not just a festival about circus, but about sharing.
