Two great friends combined their skills to help each other. Phare, The Cambodian Circus put on a stunning performance by the cast from their current show – “Chills” at the Made in Cambodia Market at Shinta Mani Resort yesterday.
The performers entered the hotel grounds with a bang and a crash – accompanied by their own musicians. The 15 minute show from five talented youngsters was one of the highlights for the guests at the Market. The circus students are trained at Phare Ponleu Selpak, based in Battambang. They appear every night at the Big Top, on Sivutha Boulevard behind the National Museum.
The Made in Cambodia Markets are fortnightly on the first and third Saturday of the month and feature many locally made products. They offer help to NGOs, small businesses and other people interested in promoting their own wares in Siem Reap.
So if you’re looking for somewhere to go in the evening, the Circus is a “must see”. On every other Saturday don’t miss the Market.
